Rotterdam/Utrecht, 30 September 2008 – The launch of SEPA Credit Transfer in January 2007 marked the first tentative step towards the implementation of SEPA (Single Euro Payments Area). However, European businesses are insufficiently prepared for the implications of SEPA and seize its opportunities. Furthermore, the banking sector seems unable to offer reliable and adequate support to the businessworld. Rotterdam, 6 June 2005 – Prof.dr. R.J.M. (Roger) Dassen RA (39) is the new chairman of the board of management of Deloitte Accountants and Consultants. The appointment was announced last Saterday at an informal meeting of Deloitte shareholders in Amsterdam. Dassen replaces Willy Biewinga, Deloitte's former chairman who stepped down on 1 June 2005. Dassen's appointment followed a recommendation by Deloitte's board of supervisors and will be formalised at the formal meeting of shareholders on 12 July 2005. | Deloitte’s turnover falls by more than 6 percent |

Rotterdam, 19th October 2004 – For the first time in ten years, the accountancy and consultancy organisation Deloitte’s turnover has fallen from the previous year. Whilst turnover in the previous year still amounted to € 756 million, the 2003 / 2004 financial year concluded with a figure of almost € 710 million, a fall of more than 6 percent. Net profit came out at € 91.7 million against over € 123 million the year before. The consultancy practice was particularly affected, seeing turnover shrink by 10 precent to over € 158 million. Rotterdam, 5 November 2003 – A majority of the stakeholders (59%) welcoming the Tabaksblat recommendations see a role for the external auditor to supervise adherence to the Code generally. Moreover, 57% of this group feels the auditor should issue an auditor’s opinion on his findings. | Deloitte study reveals only 7% of manufacturers are effectively managing their supply chain |

October 9, 2003 – Deloitte today released the second report from its global manufacturing benchmarking initiative, entitled “Mastering Complexity in Global Manufacturing.” The study reveals that only 7% of companies are effectively managing their supply chain. These ‘Complexity Masters’’ profit margins are 73% greater than manufacturers with poor supply chain performance and less complex environments.
