In the EMEA 500 list, three fastest growing companies from Turkey, Mobilera, VeriPark and Bizitek took the 15th, 50th, and 51st places, consecutively. Mobilera was also the second fastest growing communication/networking company in the EMEA region.

November 27, 2006, Istanbul; Results of Deloitte Technology Fast 500 EMEA, which ranks the 500 fastest growing technology companies in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) was announced at a ceremony in Paris on Monday, November 27. Mobilera, the 15th fastest growing technology company in the EMEA region took the second place in the communication/networking segment. Veripark, 50th in the list, and Bizitek, 51st, were the 14th and 15th fastest growing software companies in the EMEA region, consecutively.

Noting that technology sector is the key to rapid economic growth, Deloitte Turkey Enterprise Risk Services Partner Oktay Aktolun said that the results of Deloitte Technology Fast 500 EMEA had marked a turning point for the Turkish technology companies. Aktolun continued:

“2006 Deloitte Technology Fast 500 EMEA program has proven that the Turkish technology sector is on the right track. In the very first program it participated Turkey has been represented in the list with the highest number of companies, with the exception of Western European countries, this is an encouraging sign for the future. Deloitte Technology Fast programs will open the way for Turkish technology companies to international recognition and partnerships and increase their potential. We believe that the programs will henceforth provide Turkish technology companies with brand recognition in the international arena, putting Turkey on the map in the field of technology. Program will also be an important source of motivation for these firms.”

High-quality employees is the most valuable asset in technology
Deloitte has also published the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 EMEA CEO Survey & Ranking 2006, which provides a comprehensive analysis of the trends in the business as well as background statistics of the winning companies.
