Deloitte announced today the appointment of Mr Tom Phillips, Mitsubishi Motors Australia past President and CEO, as a consultant to the firm.
Mr Rob DiMonte, Managing Partner for Deloitte Adelaide said: "Deloitte’s appointment of Tom Phillips as a consultant to the firm highlights our growing commitment to the automotive industry and the development of our people. Mr Phillips will be based in Deloitte’s Adelaide office, effective this month. He will also be working closely with Tom Imbesi, National Leader of the Deloitte Automotive Industry Group and its Advisory Board. Tom Imbesi is based in Deloitte’s Melbourne Office.
Mr Tom Imbesi, expressed his optimism that the appointment will provide significant benefit to both Deloitte and automotive and manufacturing clients alike.
"Tom’s recent experience at the helm of a domestic vehicle assembler will assist all clients in regard to their supply chain activities, and in developing strategies to drive sustainability in the current challenging climate.
"Tom’s addition to the Advisory Board reinforces Deloitte’s position at the forefront of advisory services to the automotive industry," Mr Imbesi said.
Tom Phillips joins the Hon Tim Fischer, AO, Lloyd Gosling, AM and Barry Comben on the Advisory Board.
