Deloitte sponsored the inaugural event in December 2003 when Sir Richard Branson, Chairman of the Virgin Group, kicked off the series by addressing a 900-strong audience.
The forthcoming schedule of presenters for the 2004 series includes:
- Terry Davis, CEO, Coca Cola Amatil
- Michael Chaney, CEO, Wesfarmers
- Gail Kelly, CEO, St George Bank
- Roger Corbett, CEO, Woolworths
Greg Whittred, Dean of the Faculty of Commerce and Economics at the UNSW, said, “We are delighted to welcome Deloitte as sponsor for our 2004 Meet the CEO series. We are committed to remaining the leading Faculty of our kind in the Asian region and through this series, we are confident that we will strengthen our already excellent relations with our alumni and the business community.”
David Redhill, CMO of Deloitte, added, “We are very proud to be associated with this exciting initiative from UNSW. It is a great opportunity for Deloitte to help Australia’s most successful and well-known leaders connect with students of business, and to share the qualities and knowledge that made them successful.
