Sydney based mobile content provider Mobile Data Group has won third place in the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 Asia Pacific 2007 Awards announced in Hong Kong at the InterContinental Hotel.

This year, two Australian companies made the top ten, alongside four from mainland China and two companies from Taiwan.

Igal Brightman, Global Managing Partner of Deloitte’s Technology, Media & Telecommunications Industry Group, highlighted growth in the region was at its highest point since Deloitte started the rankings in 2002.

“The top five companies recorded growth rates ranging from 9,409 percent to 27,542 percent for the overall winner. The growth rate of the top five companies has more than doubled over figures of 2006.”
