Deloitte, one of Australia’s largest professional services firms, has admitted 42 new partners this year bringing the total to 385 partners.

Commenting on the appointments Deloitte’s CEO Giam Swiegers said, “Our growth this year is across the board, adding depth and additional specialisation to our advisory capabilities. Strong growth has been recorded across all key business areas.”

The new partners have extensive expertise in many industry and market groups including Financial Services, Financial Crime and Anti-Money Laundering, Government Services, Energy, Resources and Infrastructure as well as Consumer and Middle market.

Swiegers continued, “The diverse range of partners appointed across these disciplines reflects Deloitte’s multi-disciplinary approach as the only fully integrated consulting and advisory professional services provider in the country. The large number of admissions to our risk management and consulting teams confirms our confidence in our existing strategy.

In 2007 Deloitte was recognised for the sixth year in a row as an Employer of Choice for Women as well as being a finalist in the EOWA Awards, recognizing leading organizations for the advancement of women. 

The newly admitted partners are located in the offices of Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Hobart, Melbourne, Sydney, Parramatta and Perth.
