“SMEs in emerging industries or innovative businesses, who want to collaborate globally can now benefit from proposed grants and industry support activities announced in the Federal Budget,” said Peter Jordan, Partner Deloitte Growth Solutions.

“Proposed measures such as support for innovative global supply chains and industry productivity centres will help SMEs establish better systems to access global markets and importantly funding for innovative export development ideas.”

The challenge ahead is for the Government to communicate with Australia’s innovators about these initiatives.
