Toronto, June 19, 2007 — Deloitte has been named by Benefits Canada magazine as having one of Canada's 30 Best Pension and Benefits Plans —  the only professional services firm to make the list.

Deloitte's inclusion in the "30 Best" list is the latest in a series of external workplace-related awards for the firm. Deloitte was also named to Canadian Business magazine's list of the "Best Workplaces in Canada" and Report on Business magazine's "50 Best Employers in Canada."

"At Deloitte we have designed and implemented pension and benefit programs that are important to our people, and as diverse as they are," says Larry Scott, Deloitte's managing partner of Strategy and Human Resources. "This public recognition further validates that we have focused on the right areas to help attract and retain the best people, and that we are well on our way to becoming the standard of excellence for talent."

Employee opinion data regarding benefits from more than 220 Canadian organizations was used to determine the list of the 30 Best plans.
