Deloitte LATCO
A new regional approach
Published: 01/6/05

Deloitte, a world-leader professional services organisation, announced its new configuration and regional organisation. This will become effective as from June 1, 2005 and will be identified as the LATCO region.

This new region will comprise 14 Deloitte firms in Latin America, among them Deloitte Peru, and over 5500 professionals. Peru was the venue for the celebration of this important moment for the firm.

“This new configuration falls within the strategy of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu of orienting our firms towards a better regional perspective, to respond in a more efficient manner to the needs of clients each time more and more globalised”, indicated Carlos Haehnel, CEO of LATCO and currently Managing Partner of the Deloitte firm in Argentina.

With this regional conception of the business strategy, the model that distinguishes Deloitte world-wide is maintained. This model promotes a multi-functional approach and the approach by industry, as well as a growing specialisation to provide excellent services in audit, taxes, consulting, and corporate finance.

Under this new configuration, Deloitte LATCO will be in conditions to align strategies in the entire region, optimise its services, and assign the best human and technological resources according to its clients requirements, overcoming geographical barriers and offering the maximum efficiency and quality in the rendering of professional services.
