As  part of Deloitte`s global social responsibility initiative called IMPACT Day, over 130 employees from the local subsidiary cooperated in the improvement of infrastructure of the “Mi Nuevo Perú” school located in Manchay, making donations and repairing school furniture.

The “Mi Nuevo Perú” school has 251 boys and girls from the initial elementary school grades to 4th. year secondary education.  Most pupils comes from poor families, thus they lack the necessary school materials to conduct classes.

IMPACT Day is part of the Deloitte culture since year 2000, and consists in contributing to community development through activities leading to improvement in quality of life. This year, Deloitte subsidiaries in 35 countries developed this activity in June, as part of the initiation of the firm`s current fiscal year.

In 2005, over 20% of Deloitte`s 120,000 employees in more than 30 countries participated in IMPACT Day activities.
