Deloitte, the advisory firm, has appointed Paula Higgleton as its new head of UK private client services practice.

Paula, who was recently named one of the Top 100 private client advisers by Citywealth, takes over from Tony Cohen who has taken up the position of head of entrepreneurial business at Deloitte.

David Sproul, UK head of tax at Deloitte, said: “Paula’s appointment comes at an exciting time for an area of the business that has seen rapid growth.  Paula’s extensive experience in the sector coupled with her drive and enthusiasm fit perfectly with our ambition to be recognised as the number one choice for wealthy individuals seeking private client services.

In addition to Paula, her fellow private client services tax partners Tony Cohen, Charles Bradbrook and Lynne Rennie were also named on the Citywealth ‘Leaders List’, and Tony Cohen was presented with the award for Accountant of the Year.

Paula joined Deloitte in 2001 and has over 20 years experience specialising in advising individuals and partners in professional firms.
