Deloitte, the business advisory firm, has announced today the appointment of Neil Berry and Andrew Cameron as Directors to its Data practice.
Neil’s previous role was Lead Architect within Capgemini’s Business Information Management practice where he worked for 6 years and Andrew was previously a Senior Manager in PWC's Data Management team for 7 years.
Neil led the SAS (Business Intelligence Software) practice at Capgemini focusing on data management, business intelligence and information architecture. Andrew was PWC’s Data Management competency leader and Data quality global expert. In addition to Data Quality he led a number of major data migration assignments in the telecoms and energy sector.
Neil and Andrew will be joining the 60 strong Data practice. Michael Cullen, Head of the Data practice at Deloitte said: “We are delighted to have Andrew and Neil on board, who are both strategic recruits in the development of our practice. Andrew will build our capabilities and market presence in the data intensive telecoms, media and technology sectors and Neil will be building a pre-eminent capability around the SAS software stack.”
Andrew Cameron said: “The spectacular growth of online advertising, the increasing penetration of complex 3G mobile products and the digital content revolution are all key challenges in today's converged world. The pace of change is relentless and organisations that are unable to quickly and effectively manage the mass of data generated and gain real insight into their customers’ preferences will be unable to stay ahead in the market.
“I have joined Deloitte because they are well recognised in the industry as a leader in the Data arena. There is unrivalled breadth and depth of experience in the team. They are truly innovative and passionate about applying their skills to solving real business issues and I'm delighted to be part of it.”
Neil Berry said: “Deloitte brings a unique blend of skills and offerings to the market, which means that we are able to offer a compelling range of services to our clients. Our eminence in thought leadership, coupled with the very highest quality people and skills gives us the edge over our competitors and I am very excited to have joined such a strong team.”
