Deloitte, the business advisory firm will be marking International Women’s Day on 8th March by celebrating the first anniversary of it’s Women’s Network.
More then 1,000 Deloitte employees in the UK have already joined the internal community, which provides women across the firm with access to role models and a forum through which they can raise and discuss issues relevant to women in the work place. The network also aims to help Deloitte recruit and retain women.
Sharon Fraser, Managing Partner for Talent at Deloitte said; “The network is a great development for us and reflects our commitment to creating an environment where people can flourish, ensuring that all perspectives are voiced and appreciated, and where employees are able to do their best work.”
Deloitte is a global sponsor of International Women’s Day, which celebrates the contribution that women around the world make to their communities, society and to business.
The firm will be marking International Women's Day by connecting women across the firm, through running a series of events both in London and in the regional offices.
In London, Deloitte will host an evening event which will be supported by Well Now, Deloitte’s Wellbeing programme. Colleagues from Deloitte’s National charities, Cancer Research UK, the NSPCC along with Bright Horizons and Wellness of Women will be joining Deloitte at the event. Female staff will have the opportunity to enjoy taster sessions with a physiotherapist, personal trainer or perhaps a relaxing massage.
