Hotel operators promise their guests a good night’s sleep but often stay awake themselves worrying over how they are performing against their competitors. Responding to these industry concerns, Deloitte has today launched a Daily HotelBenchmark™ solution which gives hoteliers access to next day reporting for their hotel. The product, part of the HotelBenchmark™ package already used by over 7,000 hotels, is free to all hotels for the rest of the year.
Commenting on the launch, Lorna Clarke, Executive Director of HotelBenchmark™ said: “We’re very excited about the launch of our new daily solution, which responds to industry demand for immediate performance data.”
Daily HotelBenchmark™ provides an independent assessment of a hotel’s performance against its competitors. On a daily, weekly and monthly basis a hotel can see where and when it is failing to maximise MarketShare™.
“Hoteliers need instant data on occupancy and revenue and with our new product and they will never be kept waiting for their reports. If data has not been submitted by hotels in their competitive set, our model gives the option of estimating missing data and notifies the client when the actual data has been received. Until now, no-one has offered hotels this facility” said Clarke.
The new product allows hotels to submit data on the previous night’s occupancy and room revenue and then access tailored performance reports immediately.
