Forrester Research, the independent technology and market research company, has named Deloitte as the leading provider of risk consulting services. In a new report, ‘Identifying And Selecting The Right Risk Consultant”, Forrester highlights Deloitte as the only firm with ‘extensive capabilities’ across the full breadth of ‘risk specialities’.
37 professional services firms were reviewed against a number of services ranging from enterprise risk strategy and financial/ treasury risk management, to geopolitical risk, legal and regulatory risk, systems integration & development, and technology risk management. Forrester concluded that Deloitte’s expertise across this range of specialities was unmatched. Deloitte is also one of few firms featured to be recognised for its ability to serve clients across all fifteen industries reviewed.
John Connolly, Deloitte UK Senior Partner & Chief Executive said: “Being recognised as the leading provider of risk consulting services across the world is particularly satisfying and is a testament to the strength of our client teams.”
Richard Norton, lead partner in the Enterprise Risk Services practice at Deloitte, said: “This is independent recognition of what we have known for some time; that Deloitte possesses a market-leading risk consulting practice with unparalleled expertise.”
This further highlights Deloitte’s capabilities in this area. In October 2005, a Forrester report on risk consulting services gave Deloitte member firms the highest overall service offering score.
