Deloitte, the business advisory practice, has announced today the appointment of Kari Hale as partner responsible for developing strategic solutions for financial services clients. Kari will also assume responsibility for Deloitte’s relationship with some of our key financial services clients when he re-joins the partnership with effect from June 2007.
Kari Hale will take up this senior role in the financial services practice at Deloitte from the Financial Services Authority where he is currently director of the Finance Strategy & Risk division and the accounting and audit sector team leader. Kari was previously the FSA's banking sector leader.
He has been at the FSA since June 2004 where he has been a member of both the Executive and the Regulatory policy committees, with particular responsibility for the FSA’s business planning and economic analysis, its Financial Risk Outlook, International Regulatory Outlook, and the FSA’s relationship with the accounting profession. Prior to joining the FSA, Kari was a partner at Deloitte.
