Deloitte, the business advisory firm, has strengthened its regional development and regeneration group by recruiting Philip Holt as a Director.
Phil has more than 20 years’ experience in regeneration and economic development in both the public and private sectors and has joined Deloitte after 10 years with PwC.
Heather Hancock, head of Regional Development at Deloitte, comments: “Phil is a fantastic addition to our regional development and regeneration practice, which continues to go from strength to strength. Over the past decade he has managed, developed and delivered more than 50 major business and regeneration projects, totalling more than £10bn worth of public and private investment.
“His experience brings a valuable extra dimension to the services that Deloitte can offer to regional development agencies, local authorities and Urban Regeneration Companies, as well as to private developers and investors at the public private interface.”
Phil comments: "The challenges facing the regeneration of our towns and cities across the UK are more complex than ever before. The role for public private partnerships is considerable, and the benefits more tangible than ever before. Here at Deloitte we match that understanding of the public sector agenda to the commercial parameters of businesses, developers and investors."
Deloitte’s specialist team, which focuses on every dimension of economic development, is now 20 strong, combining hands-on delivery credentials with in-depth advisory experience. It covers consulting, corporate finance, tax and audit services.
