Deloitte has appointed Sharon Fraser as Managing Partner for Talent of the UK Firm. Sharon joins the Firm’s Executive, becoming the first female to be appointed to this position. She succeeds David Sproul who will become Managing Partner of Deloitte’s tax practice.
As Talent Partner, Sharon Fraser has overall responsibility for talent and people development within the firm.

Sharon Fraser has been with Deloitte the majority of her 19 year career. For the last 8 years as a partner within Audit. In addition to her key client responsibilities, Sharon has previously held various leadership positions in the firm, including head of audit in the North and head of consumer business in the North West.
Sharon’s appointment to the executive comes on the back of an increase in female partner promotions. In 2006 17% of our new partners were women. Overall female partner numbers have increased to 13% this year.
