Deloitte Belgium has achieved second place in the competition for the 2006 Randstad Award for most attractive employer! Not only is Deloitte ranked second out of more than 150 companies, we are also the fastest climber as compared to last year. For a business-to-business firm, which by definition is less known to the public, this is a remarkable result! The Randstad Award comes on top of our top 3 position in the 2005 Bizz survey “20 beste springplankbedrijven/Les 20 meilleurs enterprises tremplins”.

This success is partially due to our increased employer branding efforts of recent years. Also, our 2200 employees are doing a great job at our 11.212 clients  in promoting our firm and its values. Another clue is found in the survey results. These show that for potential employees, criteria such as training, career opportunities, salaries and a firm’s financial health have increased in importance. These are all areas in which Deloitte clearly distinguishes itself.

To be considered one of the most attractive employers in Belgium indicates that we have great recruiting potential. And attracting the right talent is high on our agenda: this year we are again looking for another 300 new hires.To remain employer of choice we must continuously strive to offer our employees the best possible working environment. This is why we organise an internal survey at regular times:  our employees can tell us where they see room for improvement. This in turn influences the priorities in our HR action plan.

We are honoured to be one of the most attractive employers in Belgium. This definitely stimulates us to continue our HR efforts!
