25% increase on last year’s intake
Applications encouraged from graduates of all disciplines
Deloitte has today announced that it is creating 230 graduate positions for the coming year, an increase of over 25% on last year. Over the past 5 years Deloitte has consistently increased the number of graduate positions it has created – compared with this year’s figure of 230 positions, 70 graduates joined the firm in 2002.
Positions will be available in the Dublin, Cork and Limerick offices, across all departments of the firm including audit, tax, consulting and financial advisory services. The firm is calling on graduates from all disciplines to apply.
Commenting on the graduate recruitment drive Pat Cullen, Managing Partner, Deloitte said: “This is the largest number of graduates that we will have recruited in any one year at Deloitte – and is a 25% increase on last’s year’s intake. Thanks to strong growth across all our service lines we are now looking for committed and ambitious individuals that will enable us to continue our growth story into the future.
“This year, we are encouraging applications from graduates with a host of different disciplines – including not only those with accountancy and business backgrounds but also graduates with engineering, IT and legal backgrounds amongst others.”
Deloitte is the only professional services firm that has been voted one of the best companies to work for, five years running and employs over 1,000 in Ireland. Graduates joining Deloitte will have the opportunity to work across a host of different industries - including financial services, consumer business, property, technology, media and communications, healthcare, energy and aviation and transport.
Trainees at Deloitte will receive top-level training at the new, state of the art Deloitte Academy, the opportunity to work with some of Ireland’s most prestigious companies, as well as rapid career progression, opportunities to work abroad and a whole range of ‘business class’ benefits.
