Deloitte has today announced the appointment of ten new directors. Richard Howard, Marguarita Martin and Mark Moore become directors in the Audit department; Tom Hynes and Mark O’Donnell in the Consulting department; Lorcan O’Connor in the Financial Advisory Services department and Mark Gorman, Olivia Waldron and Karen Walsh in the Tax department. Eileen Healy becomes a director in the Enterprise Risk Services department in the Cork office.

Mark Gorman
Mark is a director in the Corporate Tax practice. He is responsible for advising a portfolio of clients in the construction, hospitality, manufacturing, bloodstock and technology sectors. Mark specialises in a range of areas including group reorganisations, property taxation, bloodstock taxation and the structuring of Irish operations for multinational corporations. He holds a Diploma in Professional Accounting, and is member of the Institute of Taxation in Ireland.
Eileen Healy
Eileen Healy is a director in the regional Enterprise Risk Services (ERS) practice operating out of the Cork and Limerick offices. Eileen has worked with Deloitte in the Melbourne, Dublin, and Cork offices and has over ten years experience in the areas of Risk, Governance, IT Security, and Internal Audit. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and a Masters in Business Studies from UCC.
Richard Howard
Richard is a director in the Audit department, working within the Technology, Media and Telecommunications group. Richard primarily works with growing Irish technology companies as well as a number of multinational software clients. Areas of expertise include revenue assurance and US GAAP reporting. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and a Masters of Accounting and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland.
Tom Hynes
Tom is a director in the Consulting department. He specialises in the area of finance function transformation and optimisation. He has extensive experience in financial and business consulting, having worked in both the Audit and Consulting departments. He has consulted with a wide range of domestic and multinational companies, in addition to public sector clients. Tom is a graduate of NUI Galway, a chartered management consultant and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland.
Marguarita Martin
Marguarita is a director in the Audit department, working with the SME group. She has extensive experience in providing audit and advisory services to owner-managed businesses, indigenous organisations and rapidly growing small and medium sized private companies. She also has particular experience in dealing with large not-for-profit national organisations. Marguarita is a graduate of DCU and is an associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland.
Mark Moore
Mark is a director within the Audit department and works with the Consumer Business industry group. He has significant experience in managing large company audits and advising on the associated accounting and corporate governance issues. Mark holds Masters of Accounting from UCD and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland.
Lorcan O’Connor
Lorcan is a director in the Financial Advisory Services department. He has extensive experience in the areas of corporate finance and recovery. He has also been involved in litigation support, general advisory and due diligence assignments in Ireland, across Europe and in the United States. He is currently in the latter stages of a 2-year secondment as Financial Adviser to the Department of Transport and the Marine. Lorcan, a chartered accountant, holds a Bachelor of Business and Legal Studies degree from UCD.
Mark O’Donnell
Mark is a director in the Consulting department and leads the Human Capital practice. He has over 10 years HR and recruitment experience, both in Ireland and internationally. Mark manages HR and executive selection assignments for clients across all industry sectors. He assists in all aspects of recruitment processes as well as providing comphrensive HR advice. Mark holds a degree in Human Resource Management (HRM) from the National College of Ireland and Diploma in Strategic HRM.
Olivia Waldron
Olivia is a director in the Tax department advising multinational and Irish domestic public and private companies on Irish and international tax issues. Her experience covers a wide range of industries including technology and construction. Olivia is a Chartered Accountant and member of the Irish Taxation Institute. She holds a BA in Accounting and Finance and an MBS in Accounting from DCU.
Karen Walsh
Karen is a director in the Corporate Tax practice with responsibility for a broad range of domestic and international clients. She has extensive experience in advising large domestic and international groups on corporate restructuring and acquisitions, inbound and outbound investment, real estate transactions and cross border issues. Karen is a graduate of UCD and a member of both the Irish Taxation Institute and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland.
