Deloitte are pleased to announce that David Carson, partner in charge of M&A Transaction Services, has been elected to the board of Chambers Ireland.
Commenting on his appointment to the board, David Carson said, “I am delighted to take up this position with Chambers Ireland. The organisation runs a highly successful business network that provides valuable information and support to its members. I have been involved with the Dublin Chamber of Commerce for many years now and highly value the contribution that the Chamber movement makes to the business community. I now look forward to expanding my involvement within the Chambers network.”
David is an existing council member of the Dublin Chamber of Commerce, where he has chaired business development, enterprise and investment and tourism committees.
As head of the M&A Transaction Services team with Deloitte, David has gained experience in a wide range of industries including retail and distribution, food and beverage, building materials, leisure and hospitality, healthcare services and energy and resources.
David is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland and is also a member of the American Chamber of Commerce.
David is a native of Omagh, Co Tyrone and attended the Christian Brothers Grammar School. He studied at the Queen’s University of Belfast where he obtained an Honours Degree in Law.
