Deloitte has today announced the appointment of three new partners - Susan Birrell, Alan Flanagan and Cathal Treacy. Susan becomes a partner in the audit department, Alan in the consulting practice and Cathal becomes an audit partner in the Limerick office.
Commenting on the admission of the three into the partnership, Pat Kenny, Managing Partner said: “We are delighted to be in a position to appoint three new partners to the firm. The appointment of Susan and Alan in Dublin and of Cathal in Limerick reflects the strong growth of the firm throughout Ireland.”
Susan Birrell – Audit Partner
Susan specialises in a number of areas within the audit department, with a particular emphasis on Sarbanes–Oxley and clients within the Consumer Business industry. She has worked with Deloitte internationally for 16 years having spent time with the firm both in her native South Africa and in the US. She joined Deloitte in Ireland in 2002.
Susan is a member of the Institutes of Chartered Accountants, in both South Africa and Ireland.
Alan Flanagan – Consulting Partner
Alan specialises in the area of finance, strategy and operations. Alan has been with the firm for eight years and his experience includes large enterprise transformation and technology assignments. He has consulted with a wide range of domestic and international companies in addition to public and health sector clients.
Alan is a chartered management consultant and an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
Cathal Treacy – Audit Partner, Limerick
Cathal is an audit partner based in our Limerick office and has been with the firm for eight years. Cathal is responsible for a number of significant Irish and multi-national clients in the region covering both the Consumer Business and Technology sectors.
Cathal is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland and is an alumnus of the University of Limerick. He is a member of both the Limerick and Galway Chambers of Commerce.
