Andrew Harbison has been appointed by Deloitte to establish a new IT Forensic and Litigation Support Service. Harbison is regarded as one of the most experienced IT forensics specialists in private practice in Ireland.
Harbison joins Deloitte from Ernst & Young where he founded and managed its computer forensics practice. During his four years there, he successfully concluded over 150 investigations. Harbison is a veteran “white-hat” hacker and has conducted and managed a large number of vulnerability assessments and penetration tests of the IT systems of major Irish and international companies.
Harbison began his career as a system analyst and administrator with Siemens where he supervised the installation of a state-of-the-art electrical grid control system for the Kuwait Ministry of Electricity and Water.
Following this, he lectured in Operations and IT Management at Trinity College Dublin, while conducting research into process management, business process improvement and information management.
