New York, April 9, 2003 - Deloitte Consulting today announced the selection by its Board of Directors of Paul Robinson, 50, as its new Chief Executive-Designate. Robinson’s selection is subject to confirmation by a vote of Deloitte Consulting partners worldwide.
Mr. Robinson was formerly Global Leader of the firm’s Public Sector Practice and a member of Deloitte Consulting’s Global Operations Management Committee. He has been with the firm for more than 20 years. During that time, Mr. Robinson also served as Regional Managing Director of the firm’s Canadian Practice, and Managing Director of Deloitte Consulting’s Ottawa office. In the course of his career, he has worked primarily with large enterprises in both the public and private sectors in Canada, the U.S., the U.K., France, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and Hong Kong. Mr. Robinson is a Chartered Accountant and Certified Management Consultant.

Mr. Robinson succeeds Douglas McCracken, who announced his resignation and retirement from the firm earlier this month.
