New York, 2 March 2006 — Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu (DTT) announced today its member firms have been recognized as the world’s best for securitization accounting by International Securitisation Report (ISR), a securitization trade publication based in London. ISR recognized the winners at its annual awards ceremony held at the Dorchester Hotel in London on January 24, 2006.  Deloitte was further recognized for having won the award for the eight consecutive years since its inception.

In making its determination, ISR, a Thomson Financial publication, gathered information with supporting data from securitization professionals around the world—including subscribers, issuers, investors and service providers. ISR conducted more detailed interviews where appropriate. The annual ISR Global Securitization Awards are recognized internationally as the most important qualitative assessment of excellence within the structured finance community. The awards also honor the best issuers, arrangers, law firms, rating agencies, monolines, trustees, research providers and deals.

"To serve clients around the world, a securitization network with Deloitte representatives in over 40 countries has been built," said Frank Dubas, Deloitte’s managing partner of international securitization. "Our success is the result of the technical, regulatory and tax knowledge of the Deloitte member firm professionals, combined with a deep understanding of the securitization process and the needs of their clients. These awards place Deloitte member firms among the securitization industry’s leading organizations, many of whom were recognized for their work in investment banking, research, law and transaction support."

The recently announced new vision for Deloitte member firms, is to be the standard of excellence. "One way we will know that Deloitte member firms have achieved their vision is when the best clients come to them; and being recognized for excellence in client service in the securitization industry, is a step in the right direction," Mr. Dubas said.
