The summer 2007 issue of The Network is for our purposes as important an issue as winter 2007, which was the first release of the redesigned newsletter. With so much positive feedback about the newsletter, you'll be able to see that very little was changed — this is certainly a testament to the fact that we're going in the right direction.
As you leaf through this publication, you’ll learn, among many things, about the business environment we share. It includes stories on the role of public-private relationships — how governments the world over are turning to the private sector for financing, design, construction and operation of infrastructure projects.
By the time you read this issue of The Network we'll have had our annual Alumni reception. To those of you who attended, thank you for showing your support; if you couldn't make it this year, we certainly hope to see you at future events. Either way, please take the time to read the summer 2007 issue of The Network; it offers a wealth of information, including:
-
A selection of national news, events and publications
-
A summary of key findings of Deloitte's survey of private company leaders
-
A profile of former federal Commissioner of the Environment and Sustainable Development, Johanne Gelinas, who recently joined Deloitte's Montreal office's Corporate Responsibility & Sustainability (CRS) group.
-
"Where are they now?" profile and alumni "Missing in action"
