Nick Main
Chairman
Deloitte New Zealand
Nick Main is the Chairman of Deloitte New Zealand responsible for the governance of the firm and its international representation.
A Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in New Zealand and of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, with over 30 years’ experience in internal and external financial audit, Nick has accumulated significant public and private sector experience. He was admitted to the partnership in 1985, appointed Chief Executive in 2000 and elected Chairman in 2005.
Nick is also Chair of the New Zealand Business Council for Sustainable Development, Deputy Chair of the Excelerator (Leadership Institute) and is on the Boards of the Committee for Auckland, the New Zealand Institute and the NZUS Council. He is actively interested in sustainable business and in particular the issues facing business arising from climate change.

Chas Cable - Corporate Finance
Chas is a partner based in Auckland. Chas leads the Corporate Finance Service Line in New Zealand.
Jamie Schmidt - Risk and Assurance
Jamie heads the Risk and Assurance Service Line providing leadership and direction for the Assurance and Advisory service line and Enterprise Risk Services.
Thomas Pippos - Tax
Thomas leads the tax service line in New Zealand and is based in Wellington. Thomas acts for some of New Zealand’s largest corporates and advises extensively on tax policy, international tax and mergers and acquisitions.
Matthew Hitch - Consulting
Matthew leads our New Zealand Consulting Practice. He acts as strategic advisor to clients across multiple industries.
Keith McArley - Accounting and Advisory
Keith is the Accounting and Advisory Service Line Leader nationally and is responsible for leading the firm’s focus on the SME marketplace.
Ian Marshall - Reputation and Risk
Ian is a partner with Audit and Assurance and is the Reputation and Risk Leader for Deloitte New Zealand. |

Murray Jack

Deloitte New Zealand
Murray is the CEO of Deloitte New Zealand and a Partner in the Wellington Consulting Practice. As CEO he leads the national partnership, overseeing the strategic, financial and operational management of the business.
Prior to his current role Murray led the Deloitte Asia Pacific Consulting practice including stints as Public Sector practice leader, Human Resources Managing Partner and Service Line Leader.
Murray has over 25 years as a Management Consultant. His professional focus has been on business and technology strategy, and implementation of technology related change programmes.

Sophia Gunn
COO
Deloitte New Zealand
Sophia Gunn is Chief Operating Officer of Deloitte New Zealand. Based in Auckland, Sophia is responsible for Deloitte’s finance, administration, accounting, information technology and knowledge management. She is also the Independence Director for the firm.
Prior to joining Deloitte, Sophia spent 12 years with New Zealand Post Ltd, most recently as commercial manager for Courier Post and a member of the senior management team, where she was involved with operational strategy and the preparation of business plans. As well as being responsible for financial management at Courier Post, Sophia worked on a number of systems development projects and the re-engineering of business units.
Sophia joined Deloitte in 2000.
