Anthony brings more than 25 years of professional experience. In 1976 he started his career in the audit profession as the first assistant of the Deloitte firm in Curaçao.  Anthony also worked during his professional study, in the Netherlands with the Deloitte office in Amsterdam from 1979 till 1987. In 1991 Anthony Cijntje, became partner and was put in charge of the Audit Department in Curacao. In 2000 he became the Managing Partner of Deloitte & Touche Netherlands Antilles & Aruba.
During his professional career Anthony lectured several Advanced Auditing courses, amongst other at the University of the Netherlands Antilles.  Since 1992 he is President of the Netherlands Antillean Chapter of the Royal Netherlands Institute of Registered Accountants (NIVRA). Anthony is an experienced practitioner in serving international clients reporting under US GAAP and IAS. Anthony is specialized in airline, banking and insurance business.

As per July 1st, 2005, Anthony is responsible for the Financial Management Services Division.
