Olusegun A. Odubogun, a Chartered Accountant is the Managing Partner/Chief Executive Officer of Akintola Williams Deloitte (AWD), the Nigerian practice of Deloitte.  He is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of AWD’s activities.  He is also a member of the Africa Board of Deloitte.

Olusegun, who has been associated with the practice for over 35 years, started his partnership career in the firm as an Audit Partner 25 years ago and moved at different times over the years to Head the firm’s Consulting, Tax, and Financial Advisory Services. He had been an important member of the Executive Management of the practice since 1991 and finally assumed his current position on 1 June 2004 as the Managing Partner/Chief Executive Officer. On 1 June 2005, he assumed additional responsibility of being the Chairman of the Board of Partners. He is also presently the Managing Partner/Chief Executive Officer of Deloitte West & Central Africa (WeCA) comprising Nigeria, Ghana, The Gambia, Cameroun and Equatorial Guinea.

He has participated dynamically in the firm’s activities and its growth initiatives and played significant roles in the two successful mergers in the firm in recent years which resulted in Akintola Williams Deloitte becoming the leading professional services firm in the country. His dedication, professionalism and foresight in the business world have earned him the respect of his professional colleagues nationwide and internationally.

Olusegun Odubogun has served on some committees of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and was at different times in the past, Foundation Council Member of both the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN) and the Business Recovery and Insolvency Practitioners of Nigeria (BRIPAN), an associate organ of INSOL. He is also a member of the board of Junior Achievement Organization of Nigeria.
