Experience

Michael has been a partner since 2000 in the firm’s audit practice. Michael’s primary work specialisation is financial and operational auditing and financial reporting.

Michael has many years experience providing assurance services and financial reporting advice to a wide range of clients from new start-ups through to large New Zealand manufacturers and financial institutions. While Michael’s primary focus has been on statutory audits he also has extensive experience undertaking financial due diligence reviews and agreed upon procedures and financial controls reviews.

Michael leads the Deloitte superannuation financial reporting and auditing group, which provides specialist advice on financial reporting and auditing for the superannuation sector.
