Ian is a partner with Audit and Assurance and is the Reputation and Risk Leader for Deloitte New Zealand. He is also the firm’s liaison partner with the New Zealand Auditor-General

Ian’s primary focus is external audit. He understands the dynamics of addressing different stakeholders’ needs with independence and integrity and respects the necessity for regular and open communication.

Ian has been with Deloitte for 32 years and an audit partner for 23 years. He has performed complex and geographically diverse risk assessment assignments and has extensive knowledge of corporate governance. Ian’s clients benefit from his broad perspective and practical application of the concepts to assist them to improve their governance arrangements and risk management structures.
