Experience
Darren became a partner in 2003 and been responsible for managing the tax affairs of a number of large corporate taxpayers. He spent two years on secondment to the Deloitte Financial Services Tax Group in London where he developed specialist skills in the financial services industry.
He is part of Deloitte NZ’s Financial Services Sector team and is responsible for Deloitte’s delivery of tax services to a number of our banking and finance clients. He has developed specialist knowledge of tax issues relevant to the financial services sector and is responsible for managing the tax affairs of some of New Zealand’s leading corporates.
Darren has specialist knowledge and experience in developing and advising on structured finance and products and is also able to utilise the knowledge and resources available through our Global Financial Services Practice.
