My Latest Thinking:

The Strategy Paradox
The trade-off between risk and return is the stock-in-trade of finance professionals, but it’s been ignored by the strategy field....until now. Based on groundbreaking large-scale empirical research and meticulous case studies of success and failure, The Strategy Paradox reveals that precisely the same behaviors that are the prerequisites of success are also necessarily the ingredients of total failure. But there is a way out. It’s not easy, but at stake is the possibility of higher financial returns and systematically lower risk — about as close to getting something for nothing as you’re ever likely to find.

The Innovator’s Solution
Innovation has typically been seen as a largely random process, but it needn’t be. In this book, the follow-up to the worldwide bestseller The Innovator’s Dilemma, Michael and coauthor Clayton M. Christensen of the Harvard Business School explain how companies can reliably and predictably create new growth businesses by focusing on their worst customers.

Money Now, Mediocrity Later
Michael explains how a narrow focus on current performance at the expense of long-term strategy can be just as damaging to future results as to today’s.
