Rich has been with the Sports Business Group since 2000, and a consultant in the Group since 2003. Initially he developed the group’s Sports Business Group's Sports Business Information System, containing tens of thousands of pieces of information on the sports industry worldwide, giving him integral knowledge of the sports market.
He works 100% on sports business assignments, and his recent work includes reviewing business plans for two Premiership football clubs, an analysis of the European sports rights agency market, a commercial review of a major English cricket county, and an analysis of the economic value of football clubs' contribution to their local communities.
His clients include FA Premier League, UEFA, Manchester United, Everton, and Reading Football Club, Lancashire County Cricket Club, Lawn Tennis Association, Ryder Cup, Swansea County Council, and Volvo Ocean Race.
He is also co-author of the Annual Review of Football Finance and Project Manager and author of the Deloitte Football Money League.
Prior to joining Deloitte, Rich developed information management systems for a range of public sector agencies in the Midlands. He has extensive research and data management skills.
