Kenneth J. Porrello is a Deloitte Consulting LLP principal in Chicago. In more than 20 years with Deloitte Consulting, Ken has held a variety of leadership positions, including regional managing director, insurance practice leader and regional industry lead for Deloitte Consulting’s Financial Services Midwest practice.

Ken serves clients in the financial services industry. Representative projects include finance transformation, market entry and product strategies, operations improvement, merger and acquisition due diligence and integration, strategic sourcing and large-scale technology initiatives. Ken currently focuses on information technology strategy and operational effectiveness.

Ken is an honors graduate of Northwestern University’s McCormick School of Engineering and Kellogg Graduate School of Business. 

Ken has been published or his research work featured in more than 100 publications and news shows, including Corporate Board Member, Crain's Chicago Business, The Financial Times, Optimize Magazine, U.S. News & World Report and The Washington Post.  He has spoken at numerous conferences and has been a frequent guest lecturer at Northwestern's Kellogg Graduate School of Business and the McCormick School of Engineering. He also has been a guest lecturer at DePaul University, the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business and the University of Toronto.
