.jpg) Peter Lowes is the national service line leader for Deloitte Consulting LLP’s Outsourcing Advisory Services practice. His practice serves financial institutions and large corporations in business process and information technology (IT) outsourcing and offshoring. Peter has more than 15 years experience in outsourcing and technology services and more than a decade of experience in offshoring. He has led, coled or advised on outsourcing transactions totaling more than $14 billion. Peter's experience with offshoring and global services delivery began with projects in the early 1990s, when he helped Fortune 100 companies deliver complex software products with integrated teams to operations across Asia, Europe and the United States. He subsequently has been involved in the creation of local market-facing and remote business and IT services in more than 30 countries. Peter has an undergraduate degree with honors in computer science from Imperial College, University of London. His views on outsourcing, offshoring and technology services have appeared in a number of publications, including Barron’s, CIO, The Financial Times, The San Francisco Chronicle and Waters Magazine. Peter joined ouer organization in September 2002 and was the global leader of FSI (Financial Services Industry) Outsourcing until March 2003. In April 2003 he took on the role of U.S. national leader of FSI Outsourcing until April 2004, when he became the national service line leader of Outsourcing Advisory Services.
