Joni Swedlund, principal with Deloitte Consulting LLP, leads Deloitte’s Financial Services – Federal practice, which includes clients with a financial services focus such as the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, the U.S. Treasury and the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation. Joni is a financial services and information technology leader with global experience advising clients in private and public sectors. 

In her role, Joni is responsible for bringing the appropriate resources from Deloitte’s consulting, tax, audit and financial advisory groups together to best serve her clients. She also is responsible for bringing key thought leaders from Deloitte’s commercial and federal practices together to deliver the latest trends and leading practices. Joni has been a key thought leader around the identity theft issue and advises clients on how best to protect the public they serve.
