David Fornari, national managing director of Deloitte Consulting LLP, has more than 30 years of business experience, including 25 years of general management consulting experience. Over the course of his consulting career, David has assisted numerous companies in the Utility and Energy industry, as well as other asset intensive sectors, evaluate and implement strategic, operational and technology-related programs and initiatives. David has led and participated in the development of several client service programs and methodologies that addressed organizational transformation and value creation. He has directed major engagements in merger integration, shared services, and customer and business process improvement that resulted in significant organizational and operational change. As Deloitte’s Energy & Resources Practice Leader, David plays a key role in the development of client-centric programs which are designed to assist the largest national and global energy companies address the challenges of competition, convergence and deregulation through the application of a portfolio of Deloitte’s product/service offerings. He is a leading thinker on alternative and renewable energy initiatives and is the executive sponsor of Deloitte’s initiative on renewable energy. He also serves as the lead client services principal for work with the U.S. Department of Energy.. David is a member of the Deloitte Markets and Services Leadership Team.
