 John Coykendall, based in Stamford, CT, is a principal in Deloitte Consulting LLP’s Consumer & Industrial Products practice. John has spent most of his career focusing on companies with highly engineered products in the aerospace & defense and automotive industries. Since 1996, John has helped senior executives in these industries improve their company's business performance through both top-line growth and margin improvement initiatives. John's experience includes supply chain strategy, supply chain planning, operations improvement, cost reduction and process redesign. He has led large-scale transformation efforts to significantly improve business performance, including several supply chain initiatives to improve on-time delivery, reduce lead times and increase margins. John has an undergraduate degree in business/economics and government & law from Lafayette College, and a master of business administration degree from Duke University. He also is a member of the Association for Operations Management (APICS) and holds an APICS certification.
