With 24 years of health care, accounting, auditing and consulting experience, Steve Burrill is deputy managing partner, AERS (Audit and Enterprise Risk Services) Clients & Markets, and a member of Deloitte’s National Health Care Executive Committee. In his national health care role, Steve leads a multifaceted health care and life sciences practice and serves as both an audit and consulting partner on health system, single location hospital and medical group clients.

As deputy managing partner, AERS Clients & Markets, Steve leads Deloitte's efforts to grow services for clients, including services to smaller public and private companies, as well as early stage venture capital companies. Steve also leads Deloitte's efforts to bring industry insights and knowledge to clients.

In his client work, Steve specializes in revenue cycle management for hospital systems and medical groups. He also consults with health care organizations on operational improvement matters, physician compensation systems, cash flow modeling, structuring and other key issues.

He is frequently quoted in industry publications and is active in numerous civic and professional organizations, including the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (CPA) and the California CPA Society. Steve received his bachelor's degree in business economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
