Todd E. Behrend is a partner in the International Tax practice of Deloitte Tax LLP (Deloitte Tax). Based in the Atlanta office, he has spent significant time working in China and Japan and is a leader of the U.S. Inbound Investment practice. Todd is a member of Deloitte Tax’s firmwide international tax and mergers and acquisitions (M&A) teams and is a leader of these practices in the Southeast.

Todd works with both U.S. and foreign multinational companies, with particularly strong experience in structuring global M&A. He has worked extensively with companies in the manufacturing, automotive and technology industries.

Todd specializes in consulting with U.S. and foreign-based multinationals on the tax and business issues associated with global expansion. Todd has deep experience in global structuring, transfer pricing and M&A, with an emphasis on designing and developing tax-efficient structures for financing and operating businesses all over the globe.

Todd attended the University of California – Davis, where he obtained a bachelor of science degree in managerial economics. He is an active member of the International Fiscal Association, the Southern Center for International Studies and the Association of Foreign Investors in Real Estate. Todd is a certified public accountant in both Georgia and California.
