Paul Lee is responsible for the Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT) sector within Deloitte Research, Deloitte's dedicated thought leadership group.
In this role Paul has authored more than 50 TMT reports, some of which have been translated into French, Spanish, Chinese and Japanese. Paul's analysis has covered a wide range of topics, from Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) to the impact of technology progress on the video games market. Paul has also spearheaded Deloitte's research into the convergence of the TMT sectors.
Paul's views are quoted in hundreds of leading business publications around the world every year, including the Financial Times, Wall Street Journal, South China Morning Post, The Economist and bbc.co.uk. Paul also authors a fortnightly column in the Financial Times, "Drowning by Numbers," which analyzes current trends in the TMT sector from a numerical perspective.
Paul recently completed his fourth book, Convergence Conversations, based on interviews with 36 of the world's leading TMT executives.
He is a regular lecturer at the London Business School and is invited to speak at private business seminars and public conferences around the world on TMT issues.
Prior to working at Deloitte Research, Paul was Director, Gartner Consulting, leading work in the the communications sector. In this role he advised a wide range of clients including: BT, France Telecom, Orange, Vodafone, Nokia, Ericsson, Avaya, Motorola, Panasonic, Equant, Apax Partners.
