Robin Athey

Robin Athey leads Deloitte Research thought leadership efforts on issues related to organizational effectiveness. Her studies investigate the links between organizational knowledge, learning, leadership, and performance. Recent studies include: Collaborative Knowledge Networks; Enterprise Content Management: Taming Content Chaos; Creating a Privacy Value Strategy; Mobilizing the Enterprise; and Serving the Networked Consumer.

Ms. Athey's partners on these and other projects include faculty from MIT, Harvard Business School, Columbia, and INSEAD, and her studies have been presented and cited in major media publications around the world.

Ms. Athey serves on the advisory board of Deloitte Consulting's Knowledge, Methods, and Support group, the Organizational Learning and KM Council of the Conference Board, and the Learning Innovations Laboratories forum at Harvard University. She has also been a board member of the United Nations Association (UNA-USA), the nation's largest grassroots foreign policy organization and the leading center of policy research on the U.N. and global issues.

Prior to joining Deloitte Research, Ms. Athey spent ten years as a manufacturing consultant with Kurt Salmon Associates and as Vice President of Cole-Haan, living and working in eight countries across Asia, Europe, Latin America, and the former Soviet Union. She holds a B.S. in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the University of Florida and a M.A. in International Economic Policy from Columbia University.
