Dwight Allen directs Merger & Acquisition studies for Deloitte Research. He has recently completed a global M&A survey that queried corporate acquirers, private equity acquirers, and investment bankers on an array of topics regarding the M&A process and outlook. Mr. Allen has written articles on M&A topics for publication in Chief Executive, Corporate Dealmaker and the Journal of Business Strategy. He has led global studies on scenarios for the future of the communications and energy industries and has conducted client briefings, workshops and seminars worldwide.

Mr. Allen has been quoted in the Australian Financial Review, Business Week, the Financial Times, The New York Times and the Wall Street Journal.  He has appeared as a guest on broadcasts carried by CNN, CBS, and U.S. public radio and TV stations. 

Mr. Allen holds a B.A. degree from Ohio State University and a J.D. from Harvard Law School.  He is a member of the District of Columbia bar.
