2002 Deloitte Technology Fast 500 EMEA Winners - TMT - Growth Companies - Media - Telecommunications

Defying a year of bleak business lines, the 500 companies on the 2002 Deloitte Technology Fast 500 EMEA list proved their tenacity by staying steadfast on the growth curve. To our surprise, the five companies topping the annual list, in its second year in Europe, make a particularly strong statement in a tough environment for technology companies. They enjoyed an average revenue growth rate over three years of 12,747 percent — compared with 10,105 percent average growth rate of the top five in 2001.

Needless to say, it is a challenge to maintain that level of growth rate today. Revenues for the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 EMEA as a whole grew by an average 528 percent, which is slightly higher than last year’s 525 percent. All Deloitte Technology Fast 500 EMEA winners achieved over 100% growth on average.
