In this issue of Terzic on Strategy, Branko Terzic, U.S. and Global regulatory policy leader, Energy & Resources, Deloitte Services LP, discusses the 2007 Deloitte Survey of Consumer Opinion on Alternative and Renewable Energy released during the 2007 Deloitte Energy Conference held in Washington, D.C. He mentions that of the 70 percent of respondents who recognized the terms "alternative" or "renewable" energy, 62 percent said that they would be willing to pay higher electric rates for "clean coal" technologies.
