Los Angeles—Oct. 2, 2007—Vantage Media tops the list of the fastest growing companies in Los Angeles and surrounding counties as recognized by Deloitte & Touche USA LLP at an award event held Tuesday, Oct. 2, at the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles. The Los Angeles Technology Fast 50, an annual award program, ranks technology, media, telecommunications and life sciences companies located in Los Angeles and surrounding counties by percentage revenue growth over five years.

“We are pleased to honor the companies named to the 2007 Technology Fast 50 list in the Los Angeles area, and applaud the two Rising Star businesses as well,” said Tony Buzzelli, vice chairman and regional managing partner, Deloitte & Touche LLP. “We congratulate these businesses on their achievement and recognize their contribution to the growth and vitality of Southern California.”

Companies are selected based on percentage revenue growth over five years from 2002 to 2006. To be considered, Technology Fast 50 entrants must: have operating revenues of at least $50,000 in 2002 and at least $5,000,000 in 2006; be headquartered in Los Angeles County or surrounding counties; own proprietary technology or proprietary intellectual property that contributes to a significant portion of its operating revenues, or devote a significant proportion of revenues to the research and development of technology. Using other companies’ technology or intellectual property in a unique way does not qualify. Subsidiaries and divisions are not eligible, unless they have some public ownership and are separately traded.
