Richard Kramlich Presented Lifetime Achievement Award

Silicon Valley Technology Fast 50 Winners Experience Average Revenue Growth of 1,455 Percent

Mountain View, Calif., Oct. 30, 2007  — ISTS Worldwide, Inc., with more than 19,000 percent revenue growth, tops the list of the fastest growing technology companies in Silicon Valley as recognized by Deloitte & Touche USA LLP at an award event held tonight at the Computer History Museum.  The “Silicon Valley Technology Fast 50,” an annual award program, ranks technology, media, telecommunications and life sciences companies located in the Silicon Valley by revenue growth over five years.

“Growth and innovation are such a part of our culture here in the Bay Area that it easy to take for granted how many local companies are leaders in their field … demonstrated by their extraordinary growth percentages,” said Mark Jensen, a partner and national director of the Venture Capital Services Group for Deloitte & Touche LLP in San Jose. “It is no small accomplishment to be one of the fastest growing companies in Silicon Valley.”

Winners are selected based on percentage revenue growth over five years from 2002 to 2006.  ISTS Worldwide led all Silicon Valley Software and Information Technology companies with a 19,254 percent revenue growth. The other category leaders are Theravance, Inc. with 12,456 percent revenue growth in the Scientific & Medical Equipment and Bio-Technology category and TeleNav, Inc. with 16,666 percent revenue growth in the Internet, Media & Entertainment, and Communication category.

To be considered, Technology Fast 50 entrants must: have operating revenues of at least $50,000 in 2002 and at least $5,000,000 in 2006; be headquartered in Silicon Valley; own proprietary technology or proprietary intellectual property that contributes to a significant portion of its operating revenues, or devote a significant proportion of revenues to the research and development of technology.  Using other companies' technology or intellectual property in a unique way does not qualify. Subsidiaries and divisions are not eligible, unless they have some public ownership and are separately traded.

Richard Kramlich of New Enterprise Associates was honored with a Fast 50 Lifetime Achievement Award for his many accomplishments.  The Lifetime Achievement award is presented each year on behalf of the current year’s Fast 50 winners to a venture capitalist who is a role model for the Silicon Valley entrepreneurial community.  The recipient of this award is universally recognized as having made a significant impact on the venture capital community, on society, on our communities … as well as developing and fostering the innovative spirit of Silicon Valley.
