    The Deloitte Global Manufacturing industry practice and its leader, Gary Coleman, will introduce new research on "Innovation in Emerging Markets." The keynote speaker is Gottfried Dutiné, a member of the Board of Management of Royal Philips Electronics.

    The Finance Governors program assembles CEOs from the most influential, global financial institutions to discuss latest issues and trends facing the industry and capital markets. The theme for this year's meetings is "Mastering the Future: Risks and Opportunities in a Tougher Economic Era." Philip Göth, Deloitte Switzerland Financial Services partner, will participate in these meetings.

DAY 2: Summary

  • Making the global labor market work
    Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu CEO Bill Parrett will serve as a panelist on this session, which covers the main barriers to international labor mobility and how to address them, the industries that suffer the most from gaps between talent supply and demand, and how government and business can work together to allay public concerns and create a more efficient global employment market.   • Health Care and Life Sciences Governors
    The Health Care and Life Sciences Governors program provides a platform to drive new industry action. The theme for this year's meeting is "The Industry's Role in Mastering Today's Healthcare Challenges." Bob Go, Global Industries Leader and Managing Director of the Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Life Sciences & Health Care industry, will represent Deloitte at this two-day meeting.

  • China and the World:  Scenarios to 2025

  • Technology Pioneers: Innovation for innovators
    Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu's Bob Go, Global Industries Leader and Managing Director of the Life Sciences & Health Care practice, will be a panelist on this Technology Pioneers session, which gives participants an understanding of the processes that cause companies to become successful innovators. The 36 companies selected as Apax Partners' Technology Pioneers for 2006 are companies whose technologies address many societal needs.

  • Women Leaders Program
    The World Economic Forum created the Women Leaders Program to complement its commitment to improve the state of the world by supporting women in leadership positions and ensuring that global leaders are addressing issues affecting the lives of women. Anna Celner, a Deloitte Switzerland consulting partner, will join other women executives to discuss next steps to women empowerment.
